The University of Ghana has interdicted two lecturers seen in the “Sex for grades video”. The lecturers, Professor Ransford Gyampo and Dr. Kwame Butakor were seen in the video making inappropriate demands to an undercover BBC journalist who acted as a student.
In a statement, copied to Radjtvnews, states that two lecturers will be invited by the Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee for investigations.
It said, “Given that commitment, the Business and Executive Committee of the University has taken a decision to allow for further investigations into the matter. In line with University regulations, the two will be invited by the Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee in the next few days to assist with further investigations into the BBC documentary”.
The statement signed by Public Affairs Director, Madam Stella A. Amoa added that the University of Ghana will not shield any employee or student found to have engaged in sexual harassment or misconduct.

Reacting to the decision, Prof.Gyampo in a brief interaction with Radjtvnews said, he respects the decision by the University and will avail himself to the Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee.
