Some delegates in the just ended Parliamentary primaries in the Afram Plains South Constituency of the Eastern Region are furious over failure by the incumbent Member of Parliament for the area, Eric Osei Owusu,to dash 500 pieces of 32 inch Television sets promised them.

According to the delegates, the MP brought 500 brand new Flat Screen Television Sets to the Maame Krobo Community Day Senior High School where he camped close to five hundred delegates eve to the election and asked to swear an oath to commit their votes for him in exchange of the TV Sets.

However the MP failed to released the items to the delegates after losing to his predecessor MP,Joseph Appiah Boateng who Polled 352 votes as against 260 votes he secured whereas Mark Oliver Kevor also polled 227.

Some of the dissapointed delegates in an interview with Dailyguide reporter, Daniel Bampoe said “he told us to swear that we will vote for him so that he gives us the TV but after the election he said he didn’t win so he won’t give it to us but my brother some of us voted for him so we are disappointed that the MP did this to us. Everybody is angry”

The reporter then decided to call the MP to get his reaction over the allegations made by delegates in his constituency during the party’s just ended parliamentary primaries election, he started hailing insults on the reporter without provocation.
