The Chief Executive of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Emmanuel Sin-nyet Asigri has resigned.
His resignation comes weeks after a member of the Authority’s Board, Arnold Boateng tendered in his resignation over what he described at the time as “real issues” at the Authority.
It is uncertain what the real reason for the resignation but the Daily Statesman reports that the NYA CEO was forced to resign over alleged procurement breaches.
Last week, the Chief of Staff, Frema Osei Opare summoned the CEO of the NYA and the chairperson to her office but both were out of town.
Radjtv news understands an official letter was sent to them to appear on friday, August 30, 2019 which they both responded to. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chief of Staff, Samuel Abu Jinapor.
